The UMT offer quick release hooks for many areas of application. The UMT hooks are available in a large variety of standard sizes and capacities but we also manufacture bespoke quick release hooks based on a clients specific need or requirement. The UMT design quick release hooks with low on-going maintenance in mind. Each hook is manufactured to provide a high degree of safety for personal, ships and harbours.
Sturdy Design
The coastal environment is tough on any construction or installation with many quick release hooks being installed at terminals where the temperatures on some days exceed 40 degrees.
These factors have been taken into consideration by our expert UMT engineers, when designing our quick release hooks. This is why the material selection is very important, along with the coat layer, which is always painted to specification (C5M) and procedures.
The UMT team is also very focused on the detail when designing and manufacturing our quick release hooks. The sensors and switches are always well protected from the elements and against breakdown.
The UMT quick release hooks are delivered with an ATEX certificate. In the case that a capstan mother is part of the supply, then this is also ATEX certified.
