This innovative Danish design ensures reliability, robustness, low maintenance and a high degree of safety for all staff and equipment involved. The design is highly ergonomic and complies with OCIMF.

Wide Range of Models from 25 – 150 tons

The Viking Hook range covers capacities from 25 tons up to 150 tons, with models from single to quad hook stations. The construction of the Viking Hook consists of sea water resistant stainless steel parts (AISI 316) as well as a steel cover protecting the electric panel and motor. A specially developed painting for “splash zone areas” is used for surface treatment and thereby minimizing corrosion.

Modular Design

The Marimatech Viking Hook program is based on a modular design of standard “building blocks”. In this way, we are able to offer a wide range of different hook station configurations to suit requirements from any terminal without making customized and therefore expensive solutions. The modular design comprises various capstans with focus on ergonomic and tough design, various electric release panels as well as mooring load monitoring system for full overview and alarm function for mooring line tension.
