Meteorological Housing

PT Kemenangan offers an all weather meteorological housing to protect all of the expensive sensors. The housing is also called Stevenson screen or instrument shelter, which is a shelter to enclose to meteorological instruments from becoming wet as well as from becoming too hot. The all weather housing can protects standard weather instruments, like thermometers (ordinary or maximum – minimum), hygrometer, psychrometer, dewcell, barometer, or thermograph.

Stevenson screens may also be called as cotton region shelters, instrument shelters, thermometer shelters, thermoscreens, or thermometer screens. All of those items have the same purpose, which is to provide a standardised environment to get a consistent measure of temperature, humidity, dewpoint, and atmospheric pressure. The all weather shelter is white in color to reflect direct solar radiation. The most common type of Stevenson screen has a maximum and minimum thermometer for daily readings.
