Keman Tugboat Fenders consists of Bow & Stern Fenders, and Side Fenders. Our Bow and Stern Fenders are the Cylindrical Tugboat Fenders (KTF Fender), M Fenders, W Fenders (KWF Fender), and Keyhole Fenders (KKF Fenders).
Cylindrical Tugboat Fenders are used to give protection at the bow and stern of vessels when pushing against flare hulls. Beside for protecting boats, Keman Cylindrical Fenders have been used for many years for wharf protection. The inherent simplicity of installation and operation makes these units an economical solution for remote locations and for wharves that have to cope with a wide diversity of unknown vessel sizes.
W Fenders or M style fenders give a super protection to the bow and stern of operational tugs, pusher barges, and work boats. Keman W Fenders are supported by the feet and primarily designed as large thrust fenders for the bow and stern of tugs. Beside for protecting tug boats, W-Fender is also suitable for protecting quay corners, bridge buttresses and other heavy duty applications. M style fenders are mounted side by side following closely the ships’ contours, providing an elastic surface which uniformly distributes the contact force over the contact area.
Keman Keyhole Fenders (KKF Fenders) are also considered as block fenders with keyhole profile. This type of fender is designed to suit curve surfaces of the vessels’ bow and stern really well. KKF Block Fenders are compression molded and have very good dimensional tolerances. Block fenders may be cut and beveled to suit individual design requirements. Keman block fenders or keyhole fenders can be precisely tailored to fit bow and stern profiles and therefore maximizing surface coverage and providing excellent aesthetic appearance.
Keman Side Fenders are used to give protection to the sides of tugboats, pilot boats, police patrol boats, coast guard ships, and supply vessels. Keman D fenders (KDF) are offered in two different types D-D Fender and D-Circle Fender. Keman Square Fenders (KSF), which is a solid square fender and Keman Rectangular Fender (KRCF), which is a square fender with circular hole.
Keman Tug Boat Fenders are durable, abrasive resistant, and weather resistant. Keman boat fenders can be installed at smaller ports because of its light weight characteristics.
