Soil Stabilization by "Argo Jati Method"

Introduction

ARGO JATI METHOD is a soft foil stabilization made of high quality lime agent. This method widely applicable to improve soil quality, ecspecially for high moisture content soil, ecspecially for fine clay.

  • IMPROVEMENT OR STABILIZATION OF ORIGINAL SOIL
    Original soil mixed with ARGO JATI agent with considerable mixing rate will improve the physicals soil behaviour, e.g.:
    • Reduced water content/moisture content
    • Reduced plasticity index
    • Reduced compressibility
    • Improve soil gradation
    • Increasing bearing capacity
    • High level solidify
  • BASE AND STANDARD
    ARGO JATI method is based on National Standard of Indonesia (SNI.03.3439.1994) and Standard of Japan Lime Association.

  1. Quick Lime

    AP-Type
    Sizing : Powder 80-100 mesh
    Density: 0.9-1.3 tonne/m3
    C omposition:
    CaO = 82-92%
    SiO2 = 2-4%
    Al2O3 max = 3%
    MgO max = 2%
    Fe2O3 max = 2%
    SO3 = 2-4%
    Ig loss max = 3%
    Special blending with some essence: Si, Al, S, etc

    AO-Type
    Sizing: Lump Ø 5-30 mm
    Density: 1.5-1.6 tonne/m3
    Calcium Dioxe (CaO) min 91%
    Activity: 4NHCl in 10 minutes test min 300 ml
    Shape: Soft burn and porous surface area min. 12,000 cm2 per CaO one gram

  2. Slaked Lime

    BP-Type
    Sizing : powder 80-100 mesh
    Density : 0.9-1.3 tonne / m3
    Composition:
    CaO = 60-85%
    SiO2 = 1-5%
    Al2O3 max = 2-5%
    SO3 = 0-5%
    Ig loss max = 3%
    Special blending with some essence:
    Ca(OH)2, Si, Al, S

    BO-Type
    Sizing : power 80-100 mesh
    Density : 0.6-0.75 tonne/m3
    Hydrate Calcium Dioxide: Ca(OH)2 min = 92.5%
    Wet Slaked Lime: Wc 7-14%
